Refund & Cancellation Policy

This template is provided for convenience and is not legal advice. Please adapt it to your supplier contracts and local consumer law.

Cancellations by you

Please tell us in writing (email info@almadinajourney.com). Cancellation charges are made up of:

  • the non-refundable costs we have already paid to suppliers on your behalf – for example airline ticket penalties under the fare rules, hotel cancellation penalties and transport bookings; and
  • visa fees once your application has been submitted to the Saudi authorities, which are non-refundable; and
  • any administration fee stated in your written booking confirmation.

We will always show you a breakdown of these charges. Any balance is refunded to you.

Changes by you

We will try to accommodate changes to dates, names or room types. Any supplier charges for the change will be passed on at cost, together with any administration fee stated in your confirmation.

Cancellations or major changes by us

If we have to cancel your trip or make a major change, you may accept the change, choose an alternative of equal or similar value, or receive a full refund of the money you have paid us.

Government restrictions

If Umrah is suspended or restricted by the Saudi authorities, or travel becomes impossible for reasons beyond anyone’s control, we will refund everything we are able to recover from suppliers, or move your booking to new dates.

Visa refusal

If your visa is refused, visa fees are non-refundable. Other costs are handled as a cancellation by you, except where travel insurance applies.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are paid to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the money back from suppliers (or within 14 days of your cancellation where no supplier refund is involved).
